Repertoire

The competition will take place in three rounds. From the competitors in the first round, there will be approximately six competitors chosen for the second round in each category. 3 competitors from the second round in each category will pass to the third round.

 

The jury reserves the right to stop the competitor if the performance exceeds the time limit.

CATEGORY A

1.Round

– J. S. Bach: one Invention or one movement from a French Suite

– One virtuos Etude

– One piece or parts from a piece by R. Schumann

The total playing time has to be no less than 8 min. and no more than 10 min.


2.Round

– One piece or several pieces or particular movements from Classical Age until Present Age

– One piece or parts from a piece by R. Schumann. The piece by Schumann has to represent at least half of the performance.

The total playing time has to be no less than 13 min. and no more than 15 min.


3.Round

One from the folowing concerts:

– J. Haydn: Piano Concerto G-Dur Hob.XVIII 4

or

– J. Haydn: Piano Concerto D-Dur Hob. XVIII 11

or

– W.A.Mozart: Piano Concerto A-Dur KV.414

CATEGORY B

1.Round

– J. S. Bach: Prelude and Fugue from „The Well-Tempered Clavier“ Book I or II or movements from Partitas, English and French Suites

– One virtuos Etude

– One piece or parts from a piece by R. Schumann

The total playing time has to be no less than 13 min. and no more than 15 min.


2.Round

– One piece or several pieces or particular movements from Classical Age until Present Age

– One piece or parts from a piece by R. Schumann. The piece by Schumann has to represent at least half of the performance.

The total playing time has to be no less than 18 min. and no more than 20 min.


3.Round

One from the folowing concerts:

– W. A. Mozart: Piano concerto d-Moll KV 466

or

– W. A. Mozart: Piano concerto C-Dur KV 467

or

– W. A. Mozart: Piano concerto A-Dur KV 488

3.Round

or

– 2.Movement: Intermezzo and 3. Movement: Allegro vivace

or

– R. Schumann: Introduction and Allegro appassionato G-Dur op.92
