The competition will be held at the Partika Hall of the Robert Schumann Hochschule, Düsseldorf Fischerstr. 110.
Düsseldorf’s Robert Schumann Hochschule enjoys an excellent international reputation. Located in the capital of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the School of Music and Media has a student body of some 850 coming from over 40 countries. It is no longer possible to imagine the Düsseldorf cultural scene without the Robert Schumann Hochschule. Each week recitals and performances are given in the Partika-Saal concert auditorium.
The final concert takes place at Robert-Schumann-Saal, Kunstpalast, Düsseldorf Ehrenhof.
Short description of the hall: Designed by the renowned architect Prof. O. M. Ungers as a classical chamber music hall seating around 800, the Robert-Schumann-Saal located within Kunstpalast, thus offering an unusual link between art and music in the midst of the arts centre Kulturzentrum Ehrenhof, which, jointly with the Tonhalle, NRW Forum and Kunstpalast, is an important hub of cultural life within the city of Düsseldorf.
